Came up with the color...

Think I'm gonna do purple. Tomorrow I think I will go to the store and get a bleaching kit (heard Clairol makes a decent one) and will get the brunette out of my hair. Then white (and other colors that pop up during bleaching) then some Special Effects purple. Hopefully my salon that sells special effects is open tomorrow. Maybe I'll go tonight and pick it up...

Then, I'll be purple. Haven't done a crazy color in quite some time. It'll drive my poor mother crazy. She hates when I do those things to my hair. Them, I'll go and visit her in the smaller town where she lives (and where I used to) and people in that right wing ultra conservative small minded town will gape and stare like they always have when I have weird hair. They act like I'm the biggest freak they've ever seen in their lifetime, and that the only thing worse I could possibly do with my own body would to be to walk around buck naked in public. A small minded sad little community filled with judgemental awful people. Anyhoo...

Boyfriend is off now recording his band's latest album. I can't wait for it to come out - it's going to be so good. I know, I have to say that as I'm his girlfriend, but I liked his band before I knew him, and I am very very picky about music. He's brilliant and needs to get the recgonition for his talents that he deserves. :)

Dream last night - I dreamt another boring one - it was about me making brownies for my boyfriend - only I put in vinegar and soil as the main ingrediants, and he loved them. MM mm good.

Oh, forgot about my dreams...

The only thing that makes me different than most people (in my opinion) is that I remember every dream I have, every night, and remember ones from when I was as small as 5 years old. I know everyone dreams, and most people remember some of their dreams, but with me, it's every single night, 2-3 dreams that I remember through the morning, and usually one that will stay with me all day. I can also alter my dreams while I am dreaming - I am aware that I am dreaming when I am dreaming. When I was a kid, I used to LOVE going to bed (quite opposite of most children!) because I knew that there was a whole other life awaiting me when I fell asleep. In high school, with all the teen-angst (you know, you think EVERYTHING is so important and life altering and serious - hahaha) I had dreams in which I died at the end of them - every dream I had I died. I could be frolicking in a field, and would fall off a cliff (and contrary to the old wives tale - yes you can die in a dream without dying in real life - dying in dreams is very possible). The worst thing about the "death dreams" is that I could feel the pain - whether being shot, falling off a cliff, being stabbed, etc - man, they hurt! So I learned to control my dreams, and that very very rarly happens anymore.

I've had 3 dreams that have come true - sounds very exciting, but they were actually about very dull topics. And it hasn't happened again in a long time. :(

Anyhoo, I'm thinking I should put down a short summery of my dreams here. I need an outlet. I also have the craziest dreams too - but after twenty-some years of listening to my daily dream report, friends and family are tired of it!

So, tomorrow if I have a dream worth mentioning, I will post it. Last night's dream was very dull (it had a mansion and the grandmother from the Waltons in it) so I won't post it. Usually they are much more fun. :)

Had an idea for a post - hurrah for me!

Ok, here's an idea. Again, if anyone ever reads this.

I get bored very very very easily with my hair. I change it constantly. Black, blonde, red, orange, white, brown, neon colors...bobs, extensions, natural... I've done it all. And it's time to change again, but can't decide what I wanna do. Here's some samples of what it's looked like before:



So, should I do another rendition of one of those colors? Right now it looks like the pic with the bandana, but colored the dark brown. I love being blonde, but that frys the hair so bad, and the roots grow out so quick - so much upkeep. (Plus one time the hair stylist didn't rinse out all the peroxide, and half my hair fell out. Hello extensions!) The bright red was fun but it turns everything in the shower bright red when you wash it... The brown is easist as it's around my natural color.. but it's so boring! And I've been a plain redhead most my dyeing life. So... any votes? Ideas?

The first post...

Figured that everyone else on earth had a blog, so may as well go along with the flow. Plus, I have absolutly nothing to do lately - on a kind of furlough with my work for the next month until they can find a new project for me to work on. What a great company though - here I am doing nothing and getting full salary.

I work from home. Which, let me tell you is the sweetest thing on earth. I live in a city, where the commute is daily torture - but my commute is from my bed into my office, all of about 10 seconds. For my lunch break I either take my shower or workout or just sit on my patio drinking coffee, admiring my garden. The bad thing about working from home is actually looking decent anymore - if you don't have to dress for the office, you soon start not getting out of your sweats all day long, and just throwing your hair up into a ponytail or something. So when you have to actually go out into the real world, you forget how makeup and curling irons work. But, have a boyfriend of 4 years, so he's seen me when I'm sick, so no makeup, ponytails and sweats don't bother him.

Anyway... that's about it for now, I'll probably write more later. If anyone even reads this. :)
